PR/Social Media Manager


You will be responsible for managing and facilitating social media and PR campaigns across all media channels, including Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, LinkedIn, trade publications and consumer outlets, while maintaining a detailed social media/PR schedule with timeline based on strategic goals and content releases. Additionally, you will be intimately involved with planning and executing marketing events, including demos at trade shows. You must have familiarity creating and interpreting social media analytics with a focus on growing awareness of Jaunt and its products. Strong writing skills and the ability to communicate and coordinate with the various teams within the organization is extremely important.

Social Media

  • Create a social media strategy focused on growth and establishing a unique and engaging voice for the company.
  • Establish campaigns and day-to-day activities via Twitter, LinkedIn, Instagram, Facebook and others while monitoring the ROI that each channel brings.
  • Ensure an effective, informed and professional presence in the social media space, promoting thought leadership in line with the company‚Äôs business goals and strategies.
  • Analyze the effectiveness of online campaigns in real time by collecting data and producing reports required to evaluate the effectiveness of those programs.
  • Obsessively monitor social media activity looking for opportunities to demonstrate thought leadership and valued contributions to the conversation.
  • Identify and develop opportunities to engage with thought leaders in the VR and media industry.
  • Development of brand awareness and positive online reputation
  • Leverage social networks to strengthen relationships with existing consumers and clients with an eye towards increasing the number of impressions.
  • Work with Creative Services to produce visuals for print and web such as external newsletters, blogs and social media outlets.


  • Help develop a PR plan including strategy, goals and tactics
  • Help develop media relations strategy, seeking high-level placements in print, broadcast and online media
  • Coordinate across internal teams to identify stories which will engage audiences across traditional and new media
  • Create content for press releases and byline articles
  • Monitor, analyze and communicate PR results
  • Maintain a keen understanding of industry trends affecting the company and make appropriate recommendations regarding related PR strategies
  • Serve as key PR and social media contact for a variety of content creators, producers and brands.
  • Maintain a working knowledge of all company news and businesses to ensure accurate and timely dissemination of information that meets business and corporate objectives
  • A minimum of 3 years experience in PR & social media
  • Willingness to travel on short notice and conduct demonstrations at events
  • Demonstrated knowledge/understanding/experience in media and entertainment
  • Ability to create, integrate and execute PR plans in coordination with marketing and content releases
  • Experience with facilitating weekly reports and data capture
  • Excellent communication, written & organizational skills
  • Familiarity with VR industry landscape
  • Experience managing and coordinating events
  • Experience creating and writing social media copy
  • Self-starter with positive, team player attitude
  • Creative and strategic thinker
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks on deadline in fast-paced environment
  • Detail-oriented
  • Familiarity with Keynote, Photoshop and HTML
